Baba Ramdev, the co-founder of Patanjali Ayurveda, responded to the Supreme Court's warning regarding 'false' and 'misleading' advertisements by alleging that a "gang of doctors" in modern medicine was orchestrating a campaign against the company. Ramdev, addressing the media, claimed that the propaganda aimed to discredit yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy, and Sanatana values.

Defending Patanjali, Ramdev asserted that the company had substantial real-world and scientific evidence of curing various ailments through its medicines. He argued that Patanjali's integrated and evidence-based treatment systems effectively addressed conditions like type 1 diabetes, thyroid issues, high blood pressure, and obesity.

The Supreme Court had directed Patanjali Ayurveda to cease all false and misleading advertisements, warning of serious consequences for any infractions. In response, Ramdev, while expressing respect for the court and the law, challenged authorities to impose severe penalties if the company was found guilty of spreading false claims, even suggesting the death penalty.

Ramdev also called for action against those he accused of spreading false propaganda against yoga, naturopathy, Ayurveda, and traditional medicinal practices. He claimed a history of false propaganda against these practices over the last five years and referred to certain individuals in modern medical science as the "medical mafia" with tamasic and rajasic qualities.

Additionally, Ramdev highlighted that Patanjali had conducted over 500 research studies, incorporating real-world evidence, scientific findings, pre and post-clinical reports, clinical trials, and protocols.
